DSC03561 by bagheerabe, on Flickr DSC03557 by bagheerabe, on Flickr Mais si tu as un Gloria La Garibaldina, j'apprécierai de le voir

"It reminded me of a frame I kept pictures of more than 10 years ago. It is not that and this framework is English.
But if you have a Gloria La Garibaldina, I would appreciate seeing it." Thanks for the picture. I had never seen that style of conjunction before. Someone thought it might be Wilier/Dal Molin (before WILIER-Triestina; before WWII); but I have no evidence that the original Wilier (Italian) brand ever used the "halberd" symbol ("St. Giusto's halberd") before 1946, or even that early, except for one team sponsored by Dal Molin who created the "halberd" logo before the WILIER-Triestina brand was used, and which WILIER-Triestina later adopted as the company logo, although it is not found (decals, badge of headtube, pantographs) on any of the early "W-T" bikes I know of.I will endeavor to post photos of the Gloria Garabaldina. It's not fully assembled yet (work in progress), but I'll provide any pictures you want. It is estimated to date from 1945-1947; the frame uses the earlier style Campagnolo "cambio corsa" dropouts ("17 teeth"); 3-speed freewheel. The bike is original except for the saddle which has been replaced. Should I start another topic?
