Hi Dave,
Maybe 75 or 76, not after. Have a look at the number under the bottom bracket, the first digit is the year, the two following the month

Thanks for the advice but my serial number is 2251294
I asked the previous owner about the history of the bike and he couldn't tell me which year , but told me he bought the bike from Guy Lapebie.

Ok, The serial number cannot help us. But it's sure that the year must be 75 or 76 and it is a PY from Prestige Peugeot.
Golden Simplex/Mafac --> Ok Stronglight 105 must be not origin, should be 93.

Ok , the bike came with a Stronglight Escape and so i changed it for a 105 bis. I also have a 93. I'll fit the 93 instead now! I thought the bike was later and so fitted the 105.

Hi Dave, I'm affraid I can't say that (Hal ) On mine, the serial number was more telling. And I don't believe they used these lugs for a long time.

Hi Munny They have this picture online from a 1979 catalogue. This PY has different components but has the chromed lugs

may be there might be some discrepancies in dating it due to the fact that yours has probably not been made for the french market ?! Just trying to bring some ideas to brainstorm..

It is a recycling of an old image. Models 79 are very different in reality. The chromed lugs stop in 1976.
