Le commentaire de Norris
Cycles GANOLO is a French company based near Versailles, at St Germain-en-Laye, to the east of Paris. It is owned by the family of former Pro rider Maurice Archambaud. The GANOLO name was conjured up in the late 70s and early 80s in order to market the frames at a time when Italian brands such as COLNAGO, Pinarello, Guerciotti etc were attacking the French market and depriving French builders of sales.
The GANOLO brand was part of a larger wholesale company based in the same premises, called Europe Cycles.
The company also had and still have a large retail shop, CYCLES LAURENT in the centre of Paris, at 9 Boulevard Voltaire from which it sells Casati, Pinarello and a full range of other frames, including their own brand Cycles Laurent. The GANOLO name is no longer used.
No one is seems to know whether the company actually built its own frames, but there are strong reasons and arguments for thinking that Ednmond Polchlopek built at least some of the frames.

"Légèrement" tempéré par un commentaire récent :
As a former partner from Cycles Polchlopek I can honestly say that Edmond never did built any Ganolo frame. In fact Edmond was very cross with the Ganaolo-peaple since the played plagiary on his Rigidealo designs as the shortwheel-base Ganolo was nothing more than a cheap and technically imperfect (non-aerodynamoc) imitation.

A priori les cadres "Ganolo" n'ont pas été fait par Edmond Polchlopek, malgré des similitudes apparentes.
Quoique qu'il me semble que Norris était sur la voie :
Laurent-Ganolo-SL37 Compact (2)
I do not think that Cycles Laurent/Europe Cycles had their own in-house frame-builder. The firm is thought to have used Edmond Polchlopek who had a workshop in the eastern suburbs of Paris (see Cycles Polchlopek), although when the former top amateur roadman opened his first shop in the Paris suburb of Pontault -Combault in 1975 he was known to have engaged the well-known jobbing builders BACO from Romainville to build his shop's frames. This Laurent Ganolo bears little resemblance to a BACO-produced frame, and it seems reasonable to ascribe it to Edmond.
This design is for all intents and purposes a simpler form of his Rigideole II, which used a more complicated and robust seat tube configuration., but I cannot remember which came first.

Je pense que c'est le bon cadreur.
Si vous êtes sages, on verra les différences entre Rigideol et Ganolo.
